Gain the skills and knowledge you need to be qualified as a group facilitator leading a variety of outdoor recreation activities in unmodified natural environments such as wild bushland, lakes, rivers, mountains, and alpine terrain. Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership is considered the default qualification in Australia required by employees who work for businesses involved in leading groups on adventures for educational, recreational, fitness, or tourism purposes. The program has been designed to cater for learners already employed, with a blend of face to face workshops, blended learning options and workplace learning. Students will detail drawings according to engineering design intent and required Australian Standards (AS), develop skills for the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software functions and apply industry and discipline specific knowledge to produce 2D and 3D models, drawings and schematics for specialised engineering-related areas of industry. Students will produce prototype of 3D models using 3D printing technology. The course is developed using AutoCAD and Inventor software initially.

The Certificate II Construction Pathways at Wodonga TAFE is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the basic skills needed to kickstart a career in the construction industry. Throughout this course, students engage in a dynamic learning environment where teamwork and effective communication are emphasised.

Through the construction of a cubbyhouse and working within a team, and under the guidance of experienced instructors, students learn the ins and outs of building subfloor framing, including the essential techniques for constructing bearers and joists. Certificate II in EAL (Access) focuses on the development of English language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills together with electives selected to develop relevant knowledge and skills for simple everyday communication and community participation and to enable participants to move into further English language education or vocational training or a combination of both, or employment.

This program is designed to complete in 2 stages: Stage 1 is an 8-week program, provides a hands-on introduction to Manual Metal Arc (MMAW) & Gas Metal Arc (GMAW) welding and thermal cutting processes, including occupational health and safety, safe use of hand and power tools and fabrication techniques. Stage 2 (Optional*) to complete the full Certificate II qualification students will gain a further broad range of engineering skills and knowledge, including basic machining, an engineering project, interpret drawings, gaining knowledge of the engineering sector and employment.
