Introduction to Arboriculture Skill Set

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This course is a prerequisite for undertaking the Diploma of Arboriculture. The skillset is aimed at those students who have several years of experience in industry, but they either don’t have qualifications or their existing qualifications are no longer deemed equivalent. This skillset will update your credentials by teaching you the most current methodologies for identifying trees, undertaking tree pruning and performing tree maintenance tasks. There may be some opportunities for credit transfers if you have existing units of competency that are still equivalent, or recognition of prior learning if you can provide sufficient evidence to satisfy the unit criteria.
