Certificate IV in Wool Classing

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification will develop your knowledge and practical skills to sort and classify wool into various sale types. You will learn skills in determining wool classing strategies, valuing wool, supervising work routines and staff performance, managing shearing and crutching operations, as well as classing wool for special markets. At the end of the course, you should also be able to provide information and advice on wool preparation, and implementing and monitoring quality assurance procedures. The course is available in Melbourne, Geelong and rural Victoria.
