Certificate III in Motor Sport Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Most racing teams see this qualification - and studying with Motorsports Training Australia - as the minimum point of entry into the industry. Many of our graduates have achieved excellent employment outcomes in the motorsports industry after they have completed this certificate. You learn to inspect and service engines and suspension systems, cooling systems, and clutch assemblies. You also learn how to repair and service manual transmissions, braking systems, final-drive assemblies, and steering and suspension systems. Repairs to ignition, engine, and management systems are also encompassed in the duties of the mechanic. You will learn racetrack experiences, discuss problems with drivers and users to discover faults and carry out your own diagnostic procedures.
