Course in Licensing for Non-Slewing Telehandler Operations with a Rated Capacity Over 3 Tonnes

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

If you want to gain a start in the building and construction industries or work in the dairy or farming industries, a Victorian Telehandler HRW licence is a great asset. Successful course completion will see you gain a Victorian High Risk Work (HRW) licence to operate a non-slewing telehandler with a rated capacity greater than 3 tonnes which is required, by Victorian law, to perform telehandler activities in a safe and efficient manner.

You will learn how to assess the site and work area, to determine the capacity of the telehandler and attachment/s, conduct pre-operational checks, evaluate environmental conditions, select and fit an appropriate attachment, manoeuvring the telehandler in different conditions, as well as follow hand whistle and radio communication signals. You will also enhance your knowledge and experience in line with Victorian legislation.
