A Solutions Architect designs information technology systems that address a particular issue for a large business or organisation. You might liaise with stakeholders to understand what needs to be achieved and come up with solutions to address each problem. Solutions Architects might specialise in IT systems, networks or equipment.

Solutions Architects should have strong technical skills and will need to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders. You’ll need to have good problem solving abilities and excellent analytical skills. Solutions Architects must be able to manage a project and lead a team of staff. It’s important you are organised and can manage your time well.
