Naturopath

A Naturopath practices a range of alternative medical therapies to treat patients. You might specialise in a particular treatment such as herbal medicine or acupuncture or offer a range of natural therapies. Naturopaths assess patient needs and develop a treatment plan. You might work with other health practitioners in this role.

Naturopaths should have excellent communication skills and be able to listen to the individual needs of their patients. You’ll need to have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with patients from a range of backgrounds. Naturopaths should be organised and be able to manage their time well.
