Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) The Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems Designer and Installer Skill Set is the pathway for licensed electricians to become accredited designers and installers. The course delivers you the knowledge and skills to design and install quality grid connected PV systems.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants must hold an 'Unrestricted Electrician's Licence' issued in an Australian State or Territory and MUST provide evidence of holding an unrestricted electrical licence, prior to enrolment in the course. 4th year Electrotechnology apprentice may be consider for this course, if they have completed UEEEL0039 Design, Install, and verifiy compliance and functionality of general electrical installations; or UEERE0051 Apply electrical principals to renewable energy design completed and provide a statement of attainment. Additional requirements may apply.
