Waterproofer

A Waterproofer uses a range of techniques to prevent water entering the physical structure of a home or other building. You might specialise in residential work such as renovations or focus on commercial construction work. Waterproofers often apply waterproofing materials to wet areas such as bathrooms or laundries or you might waterproof the exterior of a home or structure.

Waterproofers must be able to perform high quality work and have strong attention to detail. You’ll need to be flexible and able to work alongside other building industry professionals. Waterproofers should be able to follow correct procedures and may have to work with building plans and specifications. It’s important you can communicate well and work as part of a team.
