Gain the skills and knowledge you need to work in an education support role or a special education-focused support role in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education, where you will provide assistance and support to teachers and students. Graduates with this qualification are able to work in schools alongside classroom teachers, and many graduates also continue with into studies at university in a teaching degree such as primary or secondary education while working in an Education Support role.

All students are required to complete a practical placement totalling 100 hours.

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
A Working With Children’s Check (Victoria and New South Wales) will be required to undertake your placement for this course. Please note there may be a cost associated with these checks. Additional requirements may apply.
