Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work

In collaboration with Mental Health Victoria, Wodonga TAFE is offering enrolment into the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. This specialist, nationally recognised course is specifically designed for workers who have lived experience as either a consumer or carer and who are currently employed in mental health services in roles that use a peer work framework. Wodonga TAFE teachers, in partnership with Mental Health Victoria facilitators, deliver the training in this course, with rolling enrolments that allow students to commence studying at any time of the year (subject to eligibility criteria).

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be eligible to apply for this qualification, participants must be currently working in a peer work role (paid or unpaid) at least one day per week or have been offered a placement/employment commencing prior to the start of the course with a minimum of one workday per week. Additional requirements may apply.
