The Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice qualification is based on the nationally endorsed CPP08 Property Services Training Package Units of Competence for the Real Estate industry sector.
You will learn professional techniques to sell, market, lease and manage real estate, within a property agency, at a supervisory level. As well as the essential knowledge of business law, urban and regional planning considerations, risk management concepts, appraising property – including building concepts and requirements, listing property, leasing and sales, property management and marketing techniques, preparation and presentation of property reports, conducting property sales by auction, and property security issues, you will also learn a range of agency administrative processes and procedures, including financial and trust accounting skills.

This course, which is based on the nationally endorsed Property Services Training Package (CPP08) Diploma qualification, covering the Real Estate industry sector; will provide you with the skills needed to operate and manage a real estate agency business. You will learn the essential real estate skills of selling, marketing, leasing and property management, as well as managing the physical, human and financial resources that are required in the day to day running of a real estate business.
You will also gain the working knowledge that underpins the fundamental concepts relating to property and business law, urban and regional planning considerations, business/organisational risk management and appraising property, including building concepts and requirements. The Diploma of Property (Agency Management) will allow you to seek employment as an Agency Manager.
