Leasing Agent

A Leasing Agent coordinates lease arrangements for tenants and property owners. You might advertise vacant properties and find suitable tenants. Leasing Agents prepare contract paperwork and conduct property inspections. You may also attend to any issues that arise and liaise with tenants and owners during the lease agreement. You might specialise in residential, commercial or industrial properties.

Leasing Agents should be organised and able to work on several tasks at one time. It’s important you have good interpersonal skills and can communicate well with people from a range of backgrounds. Leasing Agents should be good problem solvers and have strong negotiation abilities. You’ll need to work well in a team environment and be able to manage your time well.
