This course reflects the role of an educator who is responsible for the planning, implementing and management of programs in early childhood education and care services in accordance with legislative requirements and national quality standards. Participants will learn how to document, plan and evaluate children’s play, with a focus on inclusion, mentoring, management and working in a culturally diverse environment.
Upon completion of the Diploma, participants will become qualified to supervise other staff and volunteers. Community services workers require a diverse set of skills to respond to increasingly complex client care needs, provide crisis support, manage caseloads, develop programs and prevention and intervention strategies.
This qualification provides you with the skills to develop, implement and evaluate programs, secure and manage funding, case-manage clients in a community services setting, and lead a community services team.
