Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

The Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade must be completed as part of an apprenticeship, and upon successful completion, allows participants to work as a qualified boilermaker or welder. Apprentices will learn through a combination of on-the-job learning and block training at North Regional TAFE.
Throughout this course, participants will be guided through metal fabrication, forging, founding, structural steel erection, electroplating, metal spinning, metal polishing, sheet metal work, welding and the use of related computer controlled equipment.
