Certificate II in Music
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The music industry has a rich history in the North West providing a tool for expression, social and emotional well-being, and cultural identity.
The Certificate II in Music Industry is an entry-level qualification, providing participants with strong foundation skills upon which to build musical and production abilities.
Students will receive an introduction to the music business, gain technical skills on their instrument of specialisation and learn the basics of audio engineering, including recording.
Participants will also build their ensemble skills, working with fellow students to rehearse and perform music. Upon completion of this qualification, students will have a good understanding of the music industry and best practices.
