Logistician

Logisticians are distribution professionals who ensure the efficient movement of raw materials, inventory, retail and wholesale products. Their primary role is to minimise freight and distribution costs while maximising efficiencies and client service.

As a Logistician you could be sourcing overseas freight and distribution agencies, updating the product database, investigating the root cause of a late delivery and subsequent production halt, providing support documentation to the accounts department, preparing a detailed cost analysis of international vs. domestic inventory sourcing, or meeting with the executive team to discuss the upcoming budget allocation.
