Sports Facility Manager

A Sports Facility Manager oversees the daily running of a sports centre. You might cater for a range of sports such as indoor cricket and indoor netball, or you might handle only certain activities such as swimming. A Sports Facility Manager, or Sports Centre Manager, might organise activities such as competitions or open days. You’ll ensure the facility meets all safety standards and make sure staff are properly trained.

Sports Facility Managers should be organised and able to handle several tasks at once. You’ll need to be able to manage your time and prioritise your tasks. Sports Facility Managers should be able to communicate with customers and staff and work with people from a range of backgrounds.
