Concreter

A Concreter lays concrete surfaces for building works and other projects. You may work on residential projects or council pathways or you might be involved with larger construction work like multi-story buildings or bridges. Concreters pour concrete, ensure it is level and may include construction fixtures in their structure. Some Concreters specialise in concrete features such as colours, stone effects or patterns.

Being a Concreter is a physically demanding role. It involves a lot of manual labour and you’ll have to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions. Concreters work as part of a larger building team so you’ll have to follow directions and be a good communicator. Your job may require problem solving skills and good time management.
