A Crematorium Technician coordinates activities at a crematorium facility. You might operate crematorium equipment and assist with services and ceremonies. Crematorium Technicians liaise with families and clergy and may organise relevant paperwork. You might arrange for families to view bodies or oversee other details such as transport.

Crematorium Technicians should have strong people skills and be able to communicate well with people who are grieving. You’ll need to be able to follow instructions closely and work to correct procedures.
