This course offers a flexible environment that allows you to complete your Certificate within six months. You will be able to work in roles where you can make a difference in the lives of others and apply your knowledge of the latest digital and emerging technologies used in the sector.
The course reflects the role of individuals in the community, home, or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as a part of a multidisciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability, or some other reason. You will have a range of factual, technical, and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance offered by Monash College’s Future Skills is designed to prepare you for the future of the industry.
This course equips you to be an allied health assistant, and provide therapeutic and program-related support to people. Allied Health Assistants work under the delegation and supervision of Allied Health Professionals and assist in identifying circumstances and risks and report issues. Allied Health Assistants may be engaged to work in single discipline or multidisciplinary roles including, but not limited to health, aged care, disability services and other settings. They may also have responsibility for other allied health assistance workers according to their scope of practice.
