Visual Merchandiser

A Visual Merchandiser prepares displays of products in a retail environment. You might market new products, create seasonal displays or display merchandise used in special promotions. Visual Merchandisers may specialise in a particular area of retail such as fashion or beauty products and you may work for a large retail chain or smaller individual stores.

Visual Merchandisers should be creative and have strong attention to detail. You’ll need to be customer-focused and up to date with current retail trends. Visual Merchandisers must be able to work as part of a team and understand how customers think. It’s important you can adapt your skills to suit a range of retail needs.
