Operational Risk Managers identify risks and threats to an organisation’s operations, workforce, production, and service output. They develop operational procedures and business continuity plans that directly address each risk area.

As an Operational Risk Manager you could be explaining an emerging risk area to the executive team, working on the safety and insurance budget, investigating the root cause of a workplace incident, or carrying out a compliance audit. You’ll be also be preparing lots of reports and presentations for senior management.
