Leasing Officer

A Leasing Officer oversees the leasing of residential, commercial and industrial properties. You might source potential tenants and coordinate leasing arrangements such as collecting deposits and signing a lease. Leasing Officers may liaise with tenants and owners and attend to any problems that arise. You might carry out property inspections and arrange property maintenance and repairs.

Leasing Officers should have strong communication skills and be able to liaise with people from a range of backgrounds. It’s important that you are organised and can manage several properties at one time. Leasing Officers should have good problem solving skills and you’ll need to be a strong negotiator.
