Diploma of Leadership and Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of Owners, Centre Directors, Educational Leaders and Coordinators within the Early Childhood Environment who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management roles. At this level, relevant stakeholders display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams, they plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Applicants should be in a position of leadership and/or management and who are responsible for overseeing a service or department with a high level of autonomy.
- Applicants should ideally be in a decision making role where staffing and policy and procedure management is an integral part of their role.
- It is highly desirable but not mandatory that applicants hold CHC50113 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification or higher.
