Surveyor Assistant

A Surveyor Assistant helps with surveying projects by setting up equipment and carrying out surveying tasks. Your duties will vary depending on the project, but you’ll follow the directions of a supervising surveyor. You may have to assemble equipment on location and set up surveying marks. You might also be involved with taking measurements or collecting samples.

Surveyor Assistants need to be flexible and able to work in a range of locations. You’ll spend a lot of time outdoors and may have to work in all sorts of weather conditions. Surveyor Assistants need excellent attention to detail and must be able to complete precise measurements.
