A Publicist manages and promotes the public image of clients, such as celebrities, companies, or organisations. You might work for PR agencies, media firms, or in-house teams. Publicists create and implement strategies to enhance visibility and manage media relations. You’ll draft press releases, organise events, and handle inquiries to maintain a positive image and secure favourable media coverage.

Publicists play a vital role in shaping public perception. You’ll need to be persuasive and proactive, with excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with the media and clients. Effective crisis management and the ability to craft compelling narratives are key to success in this role.
