Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the minimum requirement to work in the early childhood education and care sector. This qualification provides entry level job pathways in early childhood centres, home-based care, and before and after school hours care. This course is designed to give students the skills and knowledge necessary to assist a person requiring first aid until medical assistance arrives. If you are a first aid officer, it is mandatory that your qualification is updated every three years.

Employers in the licensed hospitality industry require any employee serving or selling alcohol to the public to obtain their mandatory RSA certificate in Victoria by a VGCCC approved RTO. Cire Training is a Liquor Control Victoria (formerly VGCCC)–approved provider of accredited RSA training. Upon completing this course, you will receive your Victorian Certificate of Completion AND a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in SITHFAB0021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.

This is the entry unit of competency for those wanting to work in cafés and restaurants where they are required to handle or serve food and drinks. It is also required for those working in kitchens or clearing tables. Graduates gain the skills required to comply with the Australian and New Zealand Food Safety (FSANZ) Code.

People need these skills at many levels and in a diverse range of settings in the workplace during the course of their daily activities.
