NSW Fee-Free training Funding

Skills NSW, a subsidiary of the NSW Government, is now offering fully subsidised qualifications to eligible students in a range of high-demand industries.

NSW fee-free training is specifically for young people and new workers, job seekers, First Nations People, unpaid carers, women who want to work in non-traditional trades, and some visa holders. And best of all, it’s completely free.

With a fully subsidised qualification, you could launch your career in mining, childcare, IT, nursing, agriculture, construction, social welfare and community services, engineering, transport and logistics. You could even spearhead the launch of your own new business or startup.

There are hundreds of qualifications in Australia’s most in-demand industries, and many of these courses normally cost between $7,500 and $16,000. So the savings are significant.

To be eligible for NSW fee-free training you must be over 15 years of age, already living or working in NSW, and an Australian/NZ citizen or approved visa holder.
