The 22660VIC Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk provides an accredited training program and vocational outcomes for universal service workers, to identify the presenting risk of family violence, and gain the confidence to provide appropriate responses.
Learn moreThis comprehensive dual qualification program is designed for individuals seeking an in-depth understanding of the complex interplay between Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health. The course will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and empathy required to work effectively in roles that address harmful substance use and mental health challenges.
Course length for Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs is 14 months and the course length for Certificate IV in Mental Health is 11 months. However, due to these two qualifications including many of the same study units, you can complete this dual qualification in just 17 months.

This nationally recognised skill set has been designed for individuals who:
- hold a relevant qualification or equivalent skills (at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or related field) OR
- who can provide evidence of substantial industry experience supporting individuals with alcohol and other drugs issue

Mental Health Co-existing Needs Skill Set is a short course that allows you to focus your learning and development on selected units of competency.
The nationally accredited Mental Health Co-Existing Needs Skill Set was created to meet the skill requirements for support workers providing services to clients with co-existing needs, including both mental health and alcohol and other drugs issues.
Learners will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for all successfully completed units.
