You’ll gain valuable professional experience through an 80 hour work placement which will allow you to put your theoretical learning into practice.

Virtual Training Room (day or night) – Study in real time online with instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, supplemented with guided activities via the Learning Management System (eLearning)- 1 day per week: 9:30am – 4:00pm
- 1 night per week: 5:30pm – 9:00pm
NB: All study modes require students to undertake additional activities, including research activities, reflections and assessments via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Time zones: Virtual Training Room classes run on AEST/AEDT time zones

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Course fees
- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- SA Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the SA Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- TAS Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the TAS Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- VIC Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the VIC Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
Student tuition fees are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. In addition to tuition fees, there may also be other charges such as material or amenities fees. A genU Training staff member can help you determine your course fees. A statement of fees detailing all course charges will be provided prior to enrolment.
Students in all states who are not eligible for government funding can access this course at the fee for service rate.
Fee for Service: $4,500
Eligible students from New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria can access government funding for the CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health.
Each type of funding has specific eligibility requirements.
