Gain the ability to design and deliver person-centred services, allowing you to provide support, advocacy, and interventions in various community service, case work or case management systems.
Delivery mode
genU Training offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Online
Set your own study schedule and balance study with your other commitments.
Study Modes and Times
Virtual (day): Mix of real-time online instructor-led sessions via video conferencing and guided activities through the Learning Management System (eLearning), one day per week from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Virtual (night): Like virtual day classes but in the evening, one night per week from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, with additional practical demonstration sessions scheduled between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.
NB: All study modes require students to access and undertake additional activities, including: research activities, reflections and assessments via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Time zones: Local state time zones are observed

Course fees
- SA Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the SA Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- TAS Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the TAS Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
- VIC Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the VIC Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
Students in all states who are not eligible for government funding can access this course at the fee for service rate.
Fee for Service: $4,300
Eligible students from South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria can access government funding for CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services.
