Certificate III in Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is the first step towards a rewarding career in the community services sector and being the first point of contact to someone gaining the support to change the direction of their life.
You will learn to support and set up clients in health and social services sectors, navigate challenging interactions and respond to individual needs, manage wellness & safety in a work environment, build relationships with community networks and services to provide support.
Gain your nationally recognised community services qualification from educators with extensive experience in this growing sector.

genU Training offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Online
Set your own study schedule and balance study with your other commitments.
Study Modes and Times
Virtual Training Room (day) – Study in real time online with instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, supplemented with guided activities via the Learning Management System (eLearning)
1 day per week (9:30am – 4:00pm, comprising of 3 hours via real time online with instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, supplemented with guided activities via the Learning Management System (eLearning)
Virtual Training Room (night) - Study in real time online with instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, supplemented with guided activities via the Learning Management System (eLearning)
1 night per week (6:00pm – 9:00pm, comprising of 3 hours via video conferencing with an additional 3 hours guided eLearning)
NB: All study modes require students to access and undertake additional activities, including: research activities, reflections and assessments via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Time zones: Virtual Training Room classes run on AEST/AEDT time zones
