This comprehensive dual qualification program is designed for individuals seeking an in-depth understanding of the complex interplay between Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health. The course will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and empathy required to work effectively in roles that address harmful substance use and mental health challenges.
Course length for Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs is 14 months and the course length for Certificate IV in Mental Health is 11 months. However, due to these two qualifications including many of the same study units, you can complete this dual qualification in just 17 months.
One (1) day on campus is required to complete HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
