This course is for new entrants to the security industry looking to obtain a Security Licence. It is the first course you must complete. Asset College’s security guard course was developed with industry, for industry and delivered by trainers with decades of experience in the industry!
Asset College offers a number of employment support options to assist you while completing our security training program including employer connection events, pre-employment support sessions, assistance with resumes and VIP access to jobs not usually advertised to the public!

This course is delivered online followed by a 10 day workshop plus HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
VIC
Online plus 10 days face to face.
If you have not already completed your HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course the total in class days will be 11 days.

The generalist qualification covers the broad range of skills required to operate without supervision in a government investigations environment where an individual is required to plan, initiate, conduct and finalise an investigation.

Close protection operatives work in a team environment under limited supervision and use discretion and judgement in known and unpredictable work contexts. They take responsibility for their own outputs in work and learning, and limited responsibility for the output of others in the work team.
