Banking Officer

A Banking Officer performs a range of duties in a bank, building society, credit union or other financial institution. You may serve customers and process bank transactions such as withdrawing funds or depositing cheques. Banking Officers answer customer enquiries, provide information on banking services and refer customers to specialist banking services.

Banking Officers should have strong attention to detail and must be good at following correct procedures. It’s important that you can provide good customer service and communicate with clients from a range of backgrounds. Banking Officers must be able to work as part of a team and manage their time well.
