The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a first level qualification that is based on the competency standards within the training package for workplace trainers and assessors. It is a nationally accredited certificate recognised throughout Australia and is capable of being customised to fit the requirements of industry groups. The certificate is a quality assurance measure and has been introduced to ensure that trainers and assessors hold a common set of competencies across Australia.

Work place issues are more complex, statutory requirements are more exacting and penalties for non-compliance continues to significantly impact on the bottom line. Increasingly, employers are recognising the value of having trained personnel to manage work health and safety systems and application.

This Certificate is for those who have a degree of responsibility for the health and safety of others in the workplace or for those looking to gain entry into a health and safety management role. While there are no entry requirements for the Certificate program, it is recommended that participants have access to a workplace to apply principles and practices within a work context.

The course provides an opportunity to develop advanced skills in facilitation and assessment using best practice models, that enables graduates to deliver and assess learning experiences that develop sustainable workplace competencies and positively impact both the individual and the organisation in which they work.

The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training – Design and Development specialisation reflects the roles of those practitioners responsible for designing and developing training and assessment strategies for RTO’s. This will include analysing training need and designing training solutions and products to meet industry and organisational standards, and compliance requirements.

The course provides an opportunity to develop advanced skills in design and development using best practice models, that enables graduates to design learning experiences that develop sustainable workplace competencies and positively impact both the individual and the organisation in which they work.

The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training – VET Leadership specialisation reflects the roles of those practitioners responsible for supporting or managing an organisation’s operational quality and compliance, and who would support and mentor entry level VET teachers, trainers and assessors.

The course provides an opportunity to develop advanced skills in VET leadership using best practice models, that enables graduates to lead and manage a quality VET experience that develops sustainable workplace competencies and positively impacts both the individual and the organisation in which they work.
