Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

A Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner works with families dealing with conflict. You’ll support people to work through issues relating to parenting, property or finance and you may help them avoid the court system by assisting them to come to their own arrangement. A Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner helps identify the issues involved and supports parties to communicate their concerns and come to a decision that’s suitable for all involved.

A Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner needs to be understanding and empathetic. You’ll have to be an excellent listener and be able to communicate with a wide range of people. Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners must be supportive and have a strong understanding of family law issues.
