Customer Service Assistant

A Customer Service Assistant provides advice and help to customers in a retail environment. You might work in a specialty store selling fashion or electrical products or you might be employed in a larger department or grocery store. Customer Service Assistants might deal with customer enquiries, demonstrate products or take part in promotional activities. You might process payment transactions and monitor levels of stock.

Customer Service Assistants should have excellent personal skills and be able to deal with customers from a range of backgrounds. You’ll need to be able to work in a team and communicate well with colleagues and customers. You should enjoy interacting with other people and helping them with their retail choices.
