This qualification reflects the roles of community services and case management workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.

At this level, workers usually work autonomously under broad directions from senior management, provide direct support to individuals or groups and may be responsible: for the supervision of other workers and volunteers; case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

This qualification reflects the role of community services workers who support clients through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings and supporting the implementation of specific community-based programs.

This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

This qualification focuses on the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure and health activities and programs for clients in residential facilities, community agencies and day centres, and the completion of specialised tasks and functions relating to leisure and health programs.

This qualification reflects the role of workers who design and deliver person-centered services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services. Workers may be autonomous with limited responsibility within established parameters and may be required to supervise and lead other workers in projects or teams.

This qualification has been designed to prepare students to work with and care for horses and maintain the environments that horses live and operate in. This qualification provides an occupational outcome in agriculture, horticulture and horse management.

This qualification has been designed to assist students who are currently working or are seeking employment within the Aged Care and Disability Care settings to develop the important physical and cognitive skills required to successfully work within industry, develop meaningful professional relationships, provide person-centred support and meet the personal care needs of clients within these settings.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of settings who provide person centred support to people with disabilities in a manner that achieves independence, self-reliance, wellbeing and community participation. Workers in this role will be required to work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

This skill set focuses on the skills to support the induction of new workers into roles in the disability sector health and community services industries.

This skill set covers the units for the Disability specialisation for the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support qualification. It focuses on the skills required to provide support to people with disability in various settings.
