Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This skill set focuses on providing support to a person self administering medication.

Students must hold Certificate III or higher qualification in an area providing direct client care and support and be employed in the community services industry with an organisation that can provided opportunities for the student to assist with medication.

Individual and group enrolments available. Minimum 6 students for group enrolments.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

Potential students must have access to a work place that assists with medication (overseen by a Registered Nurse) or be willing to complete work placement to complete the mandatory practical element of the course.
