Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment, and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia.

They support children’s wellbeing, and development in the context of an approved learning framework.

Educators use a range of well-developed skills and knowledge using discretion and judgment when carrying out their work in the context of established policies and procedures.

They may work independently or under the guidance of others, though in some contexts that guidance may not be on-site.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level are likely to provide leadership, guidance, and support to others. They may also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.

They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must complete 12 units and 100 hours of work placement as per the ‘Assessment Requirements’ of the Qualifications Package.

This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia.

Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations.

They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations.

They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other educators.

This qualification covers many roles within the community services sector including case managers, team leaders and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. At this level, you have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. You would usually be providing direct support to individuals or teams of individuals. You may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

The Community and Health sector in Australia is growing rapidly and there is an increasing need for skilled, qualified workers.

This qualification is relevant to the community and health sector workers who provide a frontline service or anyone who wishes to become a Community Care, Disability or Aged Care worker.

As part of the qualification you are required to complete a compulsory minimum 120 hours supervised work placement to enhance your learning experience. For the work placement component, a training plan will be developed to allow you to undertake specific activities under supervision of a workplace supervisor. The duration of the work placement may be programmed to be carried out progressively over the same time as your training or immediately afterwards. 3Bridges can assist you find an appropriate agency to complete your placement.

This qualification is aimed at community and health sector workers in the aged care industry either in residential, home or community care environments. You may also be or may want to be a team leader, coordinator or supervisor in the disability or aged care sectors. There are no entry requirements for this course.

This qualification reflects the role of educators who are responsible for the day-to-day running of a regulated school age education and care service in Australia.

They plan, implement and manage programs across all areas of service operations.

They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations.

Educators have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers and/or other staff.

This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health. While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organisation guidelines.

This qualification is aimed at workers, or those who want to work, in a range of community settings and clients’ homes that provide support that empowers people with disabilities so they may achieve greater levels of independence, self reliance, wellbeing and community participation. You may be or may want to be a team leader, service coordinator or supervisor in the disability sectors.
