Certificate IV in Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is aimed at workers, or those who want to work, in a range of community settings and clients’ homes that provide support that empowers people with disabilities so they may achieve greater levels of independence, self reliance, wellbeing and community participation. You may be or may want to be a team leader, service coordinator or supervisor in the disability sectors.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Have good oral and written communication and effective interpersonal skills
- Complete the mandatory Language, Numeracy and Literacy (LLN) assessment before enrolment to assess your foundation skills and whether reasonable adjustment is required
- Gain a Police Clearance Certificate check, as required, for the 120 hour work placement
- Provide their Unique Student Identifier
- Provide 100 points of ID
- A desire to work in the community sector.
Course fees
- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
