Retail Team Leader

A Retail Team Leader supervises a team of staff in a retail environment. You might work in a large department or grocery store or work in a speciality retail environment such as sporting goods or electrical items. Retail Team Leaders ensure their staff are meeting sales goals and providing strong customer service. You might handle any issues that come up during a shift or work with individual staff members to improve their performance.

Retail Team Leaders must be able to communicate well with their staff and motivate them to work hard. It’s important that you are organised and can manage your time well. Retail Team Leaders should have a strong focus on customer service and be able to call on their problem solving skills when required.
