Kitchen Attendant

A Kitchen Attendant assists with the preparation of food in a café, restaurant or catering venue. You might prepare ingredients and create simple meals. Kitchen Attendants ensure the kitchen area is clean and hygienic and make sure all tools and equipment are available. You might help other kitchen or serving staff when required.

Kitchen Attendants should be organised and able to prioritise their workload. It’s important that you are focused and can pay attention to detail. Kitchen Attendants must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Depending on your workplace, you might have to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
