What is Fee-Free TAFE funding?
Fee-Free TAFE is a government-funded program in Australia aimed at providing free training for eligible students in a range of high-demand industries. The program was introduced to help boost the skills and employment prospects of individuals looking to start or advance their careers in various fields such as health, construction, engineering, and information technology. This initiative is part of the government's larger plan to tackle the growing skills shortage and improve the job market in the country.
Fee-Free TAFE courses cover a wide range of qualifications, including Certificates III, IV, and Diplomas. The courses are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to perform specific job roles and to be competitive in the job market. The program is open to a broad range of individuals, including school leavers, workers looking to change careers, and those who are returning to the workforce after a break.
