A Computer Engineer designs systems and applications for a range of information technology networks. You might liaise with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to determine their needs and create software to address these requirements. Computer Engineers may carry out testing and make necessary changes or modifications to programs.

Computer Engineers should have good problem solving skills and be able to work as part of a team. You’ll need to have strong technical abilities and be able to adapt your skills to suit a range of circumstances. Computer Engineers require excellent attention to detail and must be able to manage several projects at one time.
