It is pervasive and increasingly vital to the success of private and public sector organisations. You will learn how to communicate value to consumers and examine the strategies for successful marketing.
Our teaching and research benefits from strong links with business, professional associations and government. We draw on the industry experience of our staff as well as our industry connections made up of Australia's most senior marketers.
Our Marketing major emphasises critical and analytical thinking and the practice of marketing as an applied science. It provides knowledge about consumer behaviour and purchase decision making, integrating theory and practice from many branches of the social science. Our curriculum is grounded in the real world and emphasises interactive exercises, team building, role-playing, business planning, problem-solving, public presentations and social interaction.
