Patient Services Assistant

A Patient Services Assistant helps with patient needs at a hospital or healthcare facility. You might assist patients on arrival or help them with other tasks such as dressing or showering. Patient Services Assistants may help with moving patients or transferring them to other sections of the facility. You may also deliver meals or help with other duties as required.

Patient Services Assistants should have good personal skills and be good at customer service. You’ll need to be able to communicate well with patients from a range of backgrounds and be able to listen to their concerns. Patient Services Assistants should work as part of a larger team and follow correct procedures.
