Functional Analyst

A Functional Analyst looks at the information technology needs of a business or organisation and assesses whether current needs are being met. You might examine software, programs, applications, networks or systems. Functional Analysts may determine if new technology is needed and provide advice or recommendations on suitable solutions.

Functional Analysts should have strong attention to detail and be able to come up with solutions to a range of problems. It’s important you have good technical skills and work well in a team environment. Functional Analysts must be able to communicate well and liaise with clients and colleagues from a range of backgrounds.
